We are in Rochester for a short - two day - stay on our way east. Because our stay is so short here in the home of the Mayo Clinic we won't have time to do much touring.
I did do some running on a nice bike trail along a river and discovered that we have entered a new climatic zone. It is clearly a much wetter climate with much more dense vegetation in the woods.
That is a definite indication that our tour of the mountain west has come to an end. So it is time to start a new journal as we head for Chicago, Cleveland, North East, Bradford, Pittsburgh, Alexandria and Washington. It's time for relatives and friends in the east!
