Patterson Memorial Bridge

Wincheter Bay

Roadside Stop

View to the South

We moved further south today along 101. The highway continued to produce great viewpoints as we drove the 120 miles from Florence to Gold Beach.

In addition to the continuing great views we found a couple of points of interest along the way.

Winchester Bay is viewable from one of the 101 overlooks. It looks like it might be an interesting place to visit with its triangular shaped oyster growing harbor.

Another point of interest was the Patterson Memorial Bridge that spans the Rogue River and provides the northern entrance to Gold Beach.

We arrived at the Turtle Rock RV Resort on the south side of town and plan to spend a week here.
