St Louis - Oct 10, 2008 -

It was an easy drive from Kansas City to St Louis, We just got on I-70 and kept on going. We were worried about pulling our house into downtown St Louis but it wasn’t bad at all. We let the GPS lead us to the Queen Casino and RV Park and were surprised to find that it is actually in Illinois instead of Missouri.

We had heard about this park from several people and thought it would be a nice place to stay but we sure don’t think so; at least not yet. The spots are very tight. The price was right though and they do have a shuttle that takes you to the casino and security at the entrance which we were very happy to see. There is a light rail system that is just a little ways and we plan on using that to go sightseeing today. There is plenty to see and do here so we will get started and I’ll be back to tell you all about it later.
