The night before we left Lake Elmo we bought our first iPod. It is the nano 8 gb and I did everything that the instructions said. I had even bought an iPod gift certificate so I wouldn’t have to put our credit card # on our secure network. Everything worked great the first night but I ran out of time to do a lot that I wanted so I only downloaded 1 song, thinking that I would come back later and copy from our CDs and spend the other $24 that We had left on our gift certificate. Everything worked great until I got a message on my computer that the Quick Time I was running was outdated and that I had to install a new version. It said that I had to delete my version and had a link to the new one so I uninstalled what I had. The message disappeared as well as the link. Oh boy, I have reinstalled things so many times that I am exhausted. What do I do?
We made it to Independence, Mo today. Most of you know that that is the home of Harry Truman and this city is full of history. We spent a week here just before we went fulltiming and visited every historic place there is: and what a wonderful place to do just that. We have also tried every coffee shop in the town as well unless they have opened some new ones since then.
We plan on having lunch with some dear friends tomorrow and are really looking forward to it. I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow and fill you in on the rest of our day.
Later………….
