A short drive, 93 miles, brought us south to Ft. Myers Beach. All but eleven miles was on I-75 so it was a relatively easy spin. We’re at our home for the next week at Gulf Waters RV Resort. This is a beautiful, clean park with wide paved sites, nicely landscaped, and expensive. Everything on the west coast of Florida, maybe the entire state, is expensive. However, Foxy is very happy here and she can crash out outside without getting filthy within an hour. It’s also satellite friendly and that’s always a plus for us. Even though we’re only 100 miles further south, it’s about 5 degrees warmer and we have the ever-present humidity.
So, we put up some of the Sun Pro window shades; then we took Foxy for a long walk. Joe watched some racing and I called my Mom. The office is actually closed today so we will have to check in tomorrow; but, we knew our site number since I had called about the mail address.
We had dinner at home to use up some leftovers and we’re settled in for a nice quiet night.
