Today was moving day, about 60 miles south to Sarasota. It was an easy drive, all on interstate highway, traffic was light enough, and the drivers were reasonably well behaved.
It is soggy humid here and neither one of us likes that much humidity. Our new home for the next week is a massively huge RV park, Sun ‘N Fun RV Resort. It’ll take the whole week just to find our way around the park; we don’t usually stay at places that are this sprawling but the choices aren’t great and they are very proud of their real estate. I’m already a bit apprehensive to do much exploring; there are lots of signs warning that it is a crime to feed alligators….not to worry, if I see an alligator, feeding it will be the last thing on my mind.
Our toaster bit the dust a few days ago so we headed out to do a little shopping. We stopped at Sam’s but they didn’t have any. We did get some fruit so the stop wasn’t a total loss. Target had two toasters that would work for us and we settled on one of those. Now, we can have toast again.
We were both lazy and not terribly hungry so we stopped at Bob Evans and had a light supper. When I’m not hungry, breakfast food always appeals to me. We even brought our dessert home to eat later. We’re in for a relaxing Sunday evening.
