Another two days brought us to Crystal Lake, Illinois. The first day we traveled I-69, US24 and I-57 for 204 miles to a Wal-Mart in Bourbonnais, Illinois. The next day was a short 89 miles to another Wal-Mart parking lot. From Crystal Lake we drove the Jeep to Palatine to visit Sue (Joan’s sister) and her husband Chuck. We had a great visit which included a Polish dinner buffet at the Old Warsaw (4750 N. Harlem Ave, Harwood Heights 708-867-4500). It was almost a 4 star (3.5), great fun and had a good variety of Polish food.
