Sojourn to the Southeast travel blog

We had an easy day today, a little less than 80 miles south on Highway 27 to I-4 West and we arrived in Seffner at about noon.

We decided to top off our fuel at Flying J and, good news, we're about to break $3 / gallon here for diesel. We paid $3.019. That'll keep the "Cat" fed for quite a while now since we don't have a lot of driving planned in the next couple of months.

Then, we checked in to LazyDays Resort, our home for the next couple of weeks and the venue for the DataStorm Rally. Joe loves this rally because he learns all the techie stuff about our Internet Satellite Dish and other interesting topics; most of it goes right over my head; so, it's relaxation time for me for the next week or so.

We had kicked back to watch TV when the rally organizers, Don & Michael, knocked on the door. We visited with them for a while and called it an early night. We were both tired because we had waited up for the Obama / McCain speeches after the vote results were announced. We're not used to staying up way beyond midnight and it was catching up with us.

Tomorrow, we're going to check out another campground where we can leave the coach while we're off on our Thanksgiving cruise. LazyDays requires that you occupy your coach while on site, so we'll have to move.
