Meandering to Quebec & The Maritime Provinces travel blog

We had an easy drive today, about 75 miles in total. We stopped for fuel at an Irving and had a light lunch at Subway.

Then, it was a quick run to the KOA west of Halifax in Upper Sackville. Overjoyed with cellphone signal again, I caught up with Mom and my sister, did some laundry, and caught up on bills.

Howard found a great place for supper, Hella's; really good fish and seafood. Then we went to Wal-Mart and stocked up on staples. You don't get much and enrich the local economy by $100.00.

We are watching tropical storm, Danny; it doesn't look like it will be much more than a rain/wind event here. Hopefully, we'll get a good day tomorrow to head to Peggy's Cove.
