Road to Duluth

We return to the rig, hook-up and pull out at 11:55 a.m 46362

The scenery along the coast is spectacular. This is a large iron ore and taconite mining area. We stop in Two Harbors and refuel. $2.95 a gallon and we put in 46 gallons. We have gotten just over 9 miles to the gallon on this tank.

We are spending at least the next two nights at the Northland RV Park in Superior, Wisconsin, just across the bridge from Duluth. We have WiFi so I spend the afternoon getting everything caught up. Tomorrow we hit Duluth and take in all the sights.

I want to thank all of you who have written to say they have enjoyed the journals and pictures. Hopefully you have been able to feel a part of our adventures.

Some of you may not know that you can send us messages from this web site, just click on the "send message" line.

If there is any questions on anything please ask and if there is some thing or some place we ought to go see please let us know.

Today was the first RV we have seen from Washington, otherwise we have been the lone one and most of the travelers are from the surrounding areas.

Also thanks for the concern as for our traveling on I-35. We end the very tail end of I-35 today and that is the closest we are getting to St. Paul, Minneapolis.

And believe it or not we have actually found a few people who not only know where Anacortes is but have actually been there.
