Meandering to Quebec & The Maritime Provinces travel blog

Yarmouth was socked in again this morning; pea-soup fog and mist. We were glad we decided to move on. As Joe & Howard were breaking camp, a light rain was falling. Gail & I decided we’d skip our morning walk.

Our journey to Martin’s River was short, about 140 miles and all on pretty good road. Visibility was pretty poor but, luckily, the traffic is quite light so we trucked along with no major impediments. We made one quick stop to get Foxy out for a quick run and then we proceeded on to the campground, Rayport Campground. We are parked on the edge of the river; Howard said…..now we can worry about flash floods. Fortunately, the weather for the next few days is not too bad.

We got settled and Joe & I took a ride to see if we could catch a cell phone signal. We couldn’t so we’ll see if we have any luck when we go out sightseeing tomorrow. Fortunately, the park has pretty good WiFi so we’re not totally out of communication.
