Artesian Well

Wetlands at park

Chokeberries

9:30 46536 we arrive at the Prentice Park in Ashland, Michigan. This is a city park with electricity for $15.00 a night. No water, but we are ok on that.

A fast run through Ashland to locate the Laundromat and we head back to the RV for the dirty clothes. Good thing the park is cheap it is $7.50 to wash 3 loads of clothes.

Ashland City Park is quite nice. The local community college, high school and FFA group constructed walking paths and viewing platforms in 1989. The park is also filled with artesian wells. On my walk I saw, ducks, frogs, lots of birds and probably half a dozen wells and heard more. Updating these walkways would be a great project for a boy scout going for his Eagle badge. They do need some repair.

We spend a lazy evening watcher Collateral Damage and eating popcorn.
