Today, we did the storage building shuffle; the carpet cleaner went back in….the luggage came out. We’ll need bags for Hannah’s trip to Ireland as well as for our two cruises. Foxy, begrudgingly, shares her space in the Jeep with the bags; it’s the only place we have room to transport them.
I did a final mail run to catch any last-minute stuff we might want to accomplish while we’re still here; but, there was nothing critical, mostly junk mail; at least, no jury duty summonses. I did some shopping to catch a few sales at a couple of my favorite local stores.
The other most important task was to complete our absentee ballots, have them notarized, and mailed in.
We met Kay & Steve and Christa, Joe & family for dinner at Interurban. The kids are growing up so quickly, much more evident to us since we only see them about every six months. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and visit with them.
