After spending 12 days on the island, we find we've done most everything we were interested in doing here. We've enjoyed the nicest weather we've had since we left Oklahoma; it has cooled off the last couple of days but, prior to that, we had bright sunshine every day. Today's weather was even better than we expected too.
So, we had to have one last dinner on PEI and the four of us headed west again to Stanley Bridge to Sutherlands. Joe & Howard polished off a bucket of steamed mussels each while Gail & I watched and wondered how the slimy little things could actually taste good, all the while wishing we had brought a camera. Our main courses were much better than Carr's too.
We bid good-bye to PEI tomorrow morning and make a relatively short drive to Amherst, Nova Scotia. Stay tuned as we venture on to the next province.
