166 miles brought us along I-8 to Rover’s Roost RV Park in Casa Grande, Arizona. This is the park where we have a lot and plan on staying for the winter.
The remainder of the month we got settled in. Joan started getting involved with some of the winter activities such as line dancing and the Senior Center art group. We had a surprise visit from Paul and Judy Stoutenborough whom we had not seen since 2002. We first met them in November of 1999 in Livingston, Texas.
Bill Joyce and Diane Melde also stopped by for a visit. We have known them since 2004 when our paths crossed in Chimacum, Washington.
We received and sent in our absentee election ballets from Texas. It has been an interesting election year but we are glad that it is finally coming to an end.
In October we put 1167 miles on the house and 585 miles on the Jeep.
