On Tuesday we drove about 350 miles eastward on Interstate 90 to the town of Billings, MT. It was our first drive on an interstate in quite some time. I like the two lane roads better!
Billings is another nice town and we found another nice campground on the edge of town. The outstanding geological feature of Billings is the ridge that borders the north side of the community. There is a two-mile long biking/walking trail on the ridge, called the Black Otter Trail, that borders the airport. We explored that and enjoyed the walk and the views.

From the ridge we had a good view of the brand new Dehler Park,

Arnie enjoyed his visit to Billings and had a chance for several hikes along the trails and rivers. Because of the warm weather that we have been experiencing we sometimes have been forced to leave him behind in the See Ya. He isn't usually very happy about this, but makes due with one or more of his stuffed companions.

It's time to move to the east again. This time it is on to Spearfish, SD and a makeup half marathon.
