Well, things are getting complicated! I'm scheduled for yet another test. As a result of an indication of blockage on both the nuclear stress test and the CTA they are going to do a heart catheterization and, if necessary, an angioplasty on Wednesday. If they do the angioplasty, we will be in Denton for at least a couple of more weeks.
Scott visited up on Monday and we had a chance to go to dinner with Angelo and Shanna Nasche. Shanna and I worked together at The Associates and we enjoy seeing them each time we are in Denton.
Arnie's been scratching too much and has flaky skin, so we took him to our veterinarian in Irving. After that visit we walked on a great path in Lively Park where we spent much time when we lived in Irving.
We also had a chance to visit a recently completed memorial near the Irving Library. The memorial is dedicated to Irving residents who lost their lives in wars beginning with World War I and extending through to the Gulf Wars. It is an exceptionally well done space with separate memorials for each war and a world map made of slate and stone in the center. The granite memorials have imbedded words and photos. It is exceptionally well done.
Today we got some barbeque from Rudy's and had Lisa, George and some friends out to the See Ya. Joining us were Diana and Dwight Hood and Sissi and Truman Warren. Our friendship with Sissi and Diana dates back to the Career Center in Odessa and carries through The Academy in Irving. We had some really good barbeque and great conversation during their visit.
Although it is beginning to get warm here and we don't relish spending June in Texas, at least the Destiny RV Resort is a well-kept and pleasant place to stay. There is a peacock who lives here. Sue discoverd a mirror placed against the fence where he can admire himself.
So now we await the test on Wednesday! Tune in next week for results!
p.s. I've resorted to older pictures again, I need to start remembering the camera!
