FULLTIMING WITH SUE, JOHN AND ARNIE Summer 2009 - Westward over the Mountains

With the See Ya's steering box repaired, we headed west from Lake City on Interstate 10 through Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. This section of Interstate 10 has about a ten mile stretch through bayou country that is a highway on stilts. I've always found it to be one of the more interesting structures over which we have traveled.

We spent yesterday in Austin and had a chance to visit with Theresa and Tom Wilde. Sue and Theresa had a great time floating down the Guadalupe River in two small rafts. I had a great run in Town Lake Park with about 3000 people, 500 dogs, and 300 strollers.

Today we arrived back at Destiny RV Resort, our home base in Denton. We plan a short visit to complete a medical test that I need. Jeff is here and we expect to have a nice visit with him.
