On Wednesday we made the short move northward past Daytona Beach to the Beverly Beach Camptown RV Park just north of Flagler Beach. The campground has a great location on the oceanfront, but charges accordingly. We opted to save some bucks and took a site on the other side of route A1A from the beach.

It was still a great location, especially for Sue and Arnie. They spent considerable time during our stay walking on the beach. Sue took the camera along one day to capture some of her closeup impressions of the beach.

There was a nice bike path along A1A that continued for many miles and made great runs during our stay. The only drawback during the week was the consistently strong winds that we experienced.

Several years ago we had discovered the terrific farmer's market at Flagler Beach. It did not disappoint this time! We had some high quality fruits and vegetables during our stay. Although dining out options were limited we did find a couple of decent seafood restaurants, one of which was directly on the oceanfront.

A big surprise in the small community of Flagler Beach was the large Catholic church. Santa Maria del Mar rivals many of the wealthy parish churches in large cities.

Our time on the ocean and gulf has come to an end. Tomorrow we head for Jacksonville for See Ya maintenance and then head west on I-10.
