Meandering to Quebec & The Maritime Provinces travel blog

Yikes, I-70 through Indiana is an ugly road. We rocked, rolled, shook and shuddered over the potholes and sharp entrances and exits from bridges. Luckily, there wasn't much traffic so Joe was able to dodge the worst ones by lane changing frequently. There is a little construction going on so, hopefully, this road will be improved.

Otherwise, we had an uneventful day, just made a couple of stops for breaks and lunch. We decided we wanted to press on through Indianapolis and stop early for an overnight stop. We are in Greenfield, Indiana at a KOA. It's like July 4th weekend here; there are kids everywhere and more tents than RV's, it seems. Foxy loves it here with all the attention from the children; it was pitch black before we could entice her to join us inside the RV.

We intend to roll out pretty early in the morning and get on east into Ohio by early afternoon so we have a short driving day planned again for tomorrow.
