Nine Mile Canyon, Wellington, Utah

9/29 – 9/30

In two days we traveled 239 miles (SR530, SR44, SR191, US6, I-70). The first night we stopped at a Wal-Mart in Price, Utah. The drive included two passes, one at 8000 feet and the other at 9000 feet elevation. The second day we stopped at Green River State Park in Green River, Utah. Green river is known for its melons and we picked up a couple that were quite delicious. We also drove through part of Nine Mile Canyon which is about 20 miles from Green River. Along Nine Mile Canyon we made two stops to check out some excellent petroglyphs (American Indian drawings carved in stone).

In September we put 1823 miles on the house and 664 on the Jeep.
