Oops… Guess we have been so busy having fun that I haven’t had time to tell you all about it… I’ll try catching up one day at a time.

Wednesday we picked up my Sister Jan from the Denver International Airport. It was a neat experience just seeing the airport. What a great place.

We returned home for a short while to see if the parts for our washing machine had arrived. They had. Yippee. The Techs from Majastic found a tech for us to bring the machine in but it is about 40 miles north of where we are so we made an appointment for next Tuesday. We are headed that way anyway so we will stay in a state park there until we get it fixed for good. Wish us luck.

Since it was quite late in the day by now, we drove back to Red Rock so Jan could see the beautiful area and then went on to Golden where we walked the main street and found a great Mediterranean Bristo to have dinner. Oh my, was that food great.

Thursday we back to Downtown Denver. We parked at the Union Station and walked thru Lo-Do (lower downtown) Larimer Square, Printers Square, 16th Street Mall and all the way to the State Capitol with a stop at several shops along the way and lunch in an outside café where we watched people coming and going everywhere during the lunch hour.

Once we got to the Capitol we went inside and toured all floors. It was beautiful.

We took the free bus ride back to Union Station exhausted but very happy. Lots of pictures to show you…
