Mike and Roxanne travel east

Teddy Bears and Chocolate Sep 17, 2007

We made two factory visits this morning. Our first was to the Vermont Teddy Bear factory where we took the tour and gave birth to two bears. They are filled with love, happiness and magic.

We then stopped by the Lake Champlain Chocolate Factory where we learned the history of the company and had chocolates to taste.

We are now on our way to North Hero Island State Park for he next two days while we explore Lake Champlain and the Champlain Islands.

Our weather today is beautiful, blue skies, a few puffy white clouds, crisp air and a slight breeze.

Well, we actually ended up at Grand Isle State Park in South Hero. We drove around the lower end of the island and stopped at a winery. Mike bought a bottle.

It has been so nice we bar-b-qued tonight. I had some apples that I needed to do something with so make a cobbler and then had some with our Ben and Jerry's Creme Brulee ice cream. Mmmmm.
