Another beautiful day. We are leaving the Lake Champlain area and headed for the north central area of Vermont.
We have plenty of time to get our required 80 miles to Troy so we are going to stop at the covered bridges along the way.
We can't find the first one that is one the map so head on to Cambridge. Our first stop is a maple outlet and visitor information center. They have a map to show us where two of the bridges are. We unhook the car and head out to Jeffersonville. After the first bridge we stop in town at the Antique shop. The shop looks small but has three floors.
We stop at the Cambridge Covered Bridge and then go back to the RV and rather than hooking up I drive the car a few miles up the road to Waterville and we park the RV and head out again. This time we find the five bridges that are on the map.
Back at the RV we hook up and head to Troy. We find a campground just south of Troy, get setup and drive into town. We have tried to call Linda several times but no answer, so back to the RV.
Around 5:00 we head out again to Troy and try the phone again, finally an answer. They have just arrived at the B&B and are ready to head out to dinner.
We drive to the B&B and meet them, then head out to Newport and dinner.
Tomorrow we will start out around 9:30 and head up to Derby Line.
