The clouds just sat right down

Today’s entry will be quick. Whatever Bill had has now been turned over to me and I feel like crap but I just have to share today with you.We left Raton this morning and only had a drive of about 150 miles to go to our destination of Colorado Springs. The trip was an easy drive along Interstate 25 once we got through the Raton Pass.Colorado Springs have never been known for it’s wonderful campgrounds but a couple of years ago they built a beautiful State Park called Cheyenne Mountain S.P. In March this year they opened their campground and we were lucky enough to get reservations online for the next three days at site # 42. We are sitting on a nice cement pad with the most beautiful view in our rear window of the Mountains and our front yard has a panorama of the lights of Colorado Springs. Awesome. We have some of the most interesting guests. There are several mule deer that sure are not afraid of anyone. Prairie crossing signs are common and squirrels romp around playing right in front of us. It sure looks like we are going to love our new yard for the next few days. Fees are $22.00 a day. Our Verizon air card comes in great and TV is so clear we didn't even put the dish up. Can't ask for anything better.

Enjoy the view…………. I know we will.
