This is a series of photos taken on the Inca Trail. this was an amazing part of the trip. the 3 days on the track were challenging, breathtaking (latterly) and truly inspiring. amazing scenery with ancient ruins popping up around every corner. as we hiked along we were supported by a team of porters who delighted in taking the very best of care of us. from hot tea in bed in the mornings to perhaps the best food I have ever consumed in the back country! there were over 20 porters to take care of our group of 12 - it was incredible!

these three days will definitely be remembered as highlights of Peru for me....
