FULLTIMING WITH SUE, JOHN AND ARNIE East of the Mississippi

Yesterday we moved from north of Pittsburgh to Mansfield, PA lying southeast of Pittsburgh. We came to Mansfield for the opportunity to visit with Nancy and Dick Smeltz.

Dick and Nancy

Nancy and Dick live in nearby Perryopolis. Nancy was a college mate of Sue's at Villa Maria College in Erie. We have visited the Smeltzs on both of our previous trips through the Pittsburgh area and always enjoy getting together with them.

Dick drove us into Pittsburgh for a visit to the University of Pittsburgh campus and the Cathedral of Learning. We came to see the ethnic classrooms that occupy the first and third floors of the Cathedral. Nancy and Dick dropped us off for the visit and we began by viewing the Heinz Cathedral

that lies across the mall from the Cathedral of Learning.

Our visit to the Cathedral was proceeded by lunch at a restaurant in Squirrel Hill and was followed by dinner at a great little German restaurant. As usual the Smeltzs took great care of us!
