We went back to Old Town Santa Fe and got a chance to see a lot of things that we missed the day before. Wow, if we had a place for art, this city has it all. I just loved going through all the shops and browsing.
One of my favorite stops was at the San Miguel Mission, the oldest church in the USA. Right next to the church is the oldest house in the USA. I was so impressed.
I’ll let the pictures tell our story this time……..
We ended our day by going out for dinner. We had asked where we could get some good seafood and several told us to go to the Bumble Bee. OK. We were game to try it but as soon as we walked inside, we all turned around and went back out. It turned out to be a fast food restaurant where everything was deep fried and just like McDonalds, you went to the window to place your order. Not exactly what we had in mind for our last night in Santa Fe. Thankfully, there was an Olive Garden right next door and we wound up there. We all had either just soup or soup and salad. It was just as good as ever.
We topped off the night by coming back to our place where we introduced Jeff and Jan to Wii. We bowl a couple of games and then Bill and Jeff played baseball and tennis. It was just enough to get them hooked on wii also and I expect to see one at their place soon.
We leave bright and early this morning for the fifty mile drive to Albuquerque. We will fill our tanks with water because for the next four days we will only have electric hook-ups.
Later from The Rally in Albuquerque………….
