10:42 We are finally settled in a campground just outside of Plymouth, MA.
We decide to head out to Cape Cod National Seashore this afternoon. We took route 6A, which winds through all the little towns, check out the marinas, antiques stores and local flavor.
At the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor Center we checked in with the volunteer and found the places to go see that would not entail a lot of walking.
I have managed to do something to my right leg, the hip, knee and ankle hurt all the time and it is difficult to walk more than a few steps at a time. So we have just redone our touring to a majority of things that can be done through driving or at least being able to park close or take a local touring trolley.
We checked out the lighthouses along the coast, the Marconi Wellfleet Wireless Station. From this spot in 1903 Marconi sent the first wireless transmission from America to Europe and started us on our way towards ship to ship and ship to shore communication as well as our cell phones.
We drove on up to Provincetown, which is the site of the first Pilgrim landing before they came into the Plymouth area.
Back at home we did laundry and got all the pictures downloaded and journals written. Now it is time to find a WiFi site and get them sent off.
