Sunrise on Grapevine Lake

 

So peaceful


Yesterday we arrived at our campground on beautiful Lake Grapevine just north of Dallas. We were welcomed by a couple of ducks at our front door just a quacking away. Of course Bill had to give them a snack and he made friends for life with them. As soon as we got set up we headed back to Dallas to see my stepdaughter and tow grandchildren. It's been two years and Sheryl looks younger then ever but Adam and Sydney have sure grown up. They are 17 and 15 years old and quite beautiful teenagers. They took time out of their very hectic schedules to spend the evening with us and it was so nice. We are hoping to catch them again soon at their place in Breckenridge when we go through Colorado a little later. Adam is quite a photographer and has won many awards including #1 in the top ten photographer's in Texas for one of art polls. I can see why after looking at his bedroom walls and ceiling. They are great. Sydney is a beautiful gal that is very active in school and church functions and we wish her well in her golf tournament today and tomorrow.Today we are off toward Amarillo, TX. We're not sure if we will get that far but will stop when we are tired of riding.Got a few pictures to share. Later
