We headed out today with the mystery noise solved and the engine air conditioner working. Way to go Charlie and Gilbert! Despite the insistence of two Freightliner Dealer Service Centers that the noise was not a chassis problem - IT WAS! It turned out to be a loose right shock absorber. Charlie and Gilbert tightened it up and the noise is now gone!
Last night was Charlie and Vicki's thirty-first anniversary. The employees and customers gathered in the auto shop to celebrate with a pot luck dinner.

It was the perfect setting because they had built this business together from a small start up repair shop lacking a hoist. The hoist in this shop served as a table for the dinner.
