What a beautiful day


Friday was such a perfect day that we decided to play hooky and do like we used to do all the time. That is to get in the truck and hunt for neat places. We heard that the Azalea Festival was on next week in Palatka so we figured that it would be a good day to return to the Ravine Gardens that we visited last year before the crowds got there. That was a perfect decision……. The Azalea’s were in full bloom and there were tons of them.

We started out on the hiking tour and walked through the beautiful gardens for quite some time before we returned to the truck and took the 1.8 mile scenic drive around the rim of the ravine….. I’ll never be able to explain the beauty so I’ll let the pictures show you…. Last time we went through the park we had my sister, Jan, with us and we talked about how pretty it would be in the spring. Well Spring has arrived in Florida…... Hope you enjoy the pics Sis.
