Marathon, FL - Moved to Grassy Key - Feb 8, 2009 - Marathon, Florida, United States

Moving day again and we were certainly ready to move. We wouldn’t recommend Boyd’s Campground for a number of reasons; but, we are glad we stayed in Key West to enjoy the sights, without having the hassle of driving in and out each day.

So, we were on the road again to cover the little over 50 mile journey to Grassy Key in Marathon. Our home for the next week is Grassy Key RV Resort on the Florida Bay side. We sure improved our campground facilities a whole bunch. This place is really nice, newly renovated, and no crazy pet rules. The only downside we foresee might be the traffic noise from U.S. 1.

We got ourselves set up, had lunch, and took Foxy for a walk. I worked on the journal to catch up on yesterday, and Joe watched some car racing for a while.

We had a light dinner at home. Then we took Foxy for a walk and I took a picture of the sunset from the boat dock at the RV Park. Now, it’s time to plan our activities for the week. We don’t know what we’re going to do tomorrow; but, tune in again to find out.
