We’ve been at Charlie’s Repair Service for awhile now, and it looks like we’ll be here for awhile yet! But that’s definitely not all bad.
Charlie’s is a friendly place where you park your motorhome in the parking lot with water and electric hook ups and tank dumping service on request. The owners, office workers, and technicians are all very friendly. They work on your motorhome at your site and provide a great opportunity to learn by watching.
About once or twice a week we all go out to dinner at one of the local restaurants. Our first outing took sixteen of us to a Japanese Restaurant about three miles from here.

Among the interesting people who have brought their coaches here are two sisters, originally from Denmark, who were separated at the ages of 10 and 14 with Hanna going to Australia. Bea, who stayed in Denmark migrated to the United States at the age of 17. The sisters were reunited about five years ago and are now traveling together with their husbands.

There have been about ten different couples here so far, with more to come. Arnie has made a couple of friends as well!

The weekend was pretty quiet.

Charlie and the guys have fixed the air conditioning and probably have resolved the mystery noise. It appears to have been a piece of loose rubber between the air tanks and the coach floor that was flapping as we drove. They have wedged a piece of wood between the rubber and the tank.
We’re not sure how much longer we will be here. We are still trying to resolve a tank sensor issue and an inverter control problem. But, in the meantime, we are having a great time!
