2009 was a pivotal year for our RVing adventure. After RVing fulltime for 5 years, that included travels to Alaska, the Baja, Newfoundland, the Florida Keys several times and numerous other neat places in between. We decided to become part-time RV’ers and fulltime home owners again.
The challenge for us was making the “Where” decision. When weighing the pluses and minuses of all the neat places we visited the list grew extensive. It also seemed the longer we traveled the more difficult, "Picky", our decision seemed to get. To make a lengthly decision process short (5 years in the making), the great state of Texas became our choice. We now reside in an active adult community located in Georgetown. Ironically, it’s only 150 miles from our pre RVing starting point and we are extremely happy with the choice. Says something of about human nature.
Over Xmas 2009 and New Year’s 2010 is a trip to the Keys and attempting to visit as many State Parks along the way as possible. Then Starting in June we will travel in a roundabout way, visiting Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Washington and Oregon, SeeYa along the way.
