A day of lighthouses and awesome changing scenery. The trip around the tip of the Gaspe is definitely recommended on a nice day. We can only imagine what this must be like on a stormy winter day with signs warning of wave crashing over the road at certain points.
We stopped in Gaspe at the museum commemorating the landing of Jacques Cartier in 1534. Needless to say we are now testing Carson on his knowledge. We stopped in Perce for the night which is the sight of the famous rock. Once again we found very reasonable accommodation with a view of this sight from our balcony. There is something to be said for traveling at the tail end of the season.
