Left camp about 7:45 this morning. The time change has us moving a little slower. We will be glad to make camp for 2 or 3 days somewhere so we can relax a little. There is just nothing to see between here and Carson City except the Mt. Rushmore area so we feel like all we have done is drive, drive, drive. So far we have put on 2700 miles. We are planning to stay in the Niagara area for two nights unless the camp place is the pits, then we will move on. Hope we have WiFi so I can catch up on posting.....it makes me feel a connection to everyone at home. As much as we miss Shilo, we have to admit it is much easier without her along and I'm sure she is happier with grandma.
We stayed at a nice campground called Confederation Park in Hamilton, Ontario about 30 miles from Niagara Falls. The park was beautiful, lots of trees, grassy sites, and fairly quiet. It was attached to a huge waterpark that the grandkids would have loved. There were dozens of beautiful black squirrels, cardinals, and monarch butterflies. We were right on the banks of Lake Ontario with great places for taking walks in the afternoon. We got here about 5:00 so no time for Niagara Falls today.
