I got the AMP job so I start Monday (tomorrow) and yesterday we found a flat!! The place is ideal really because it's halfway between Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction and it's on the bus route for the city so getting to work will be easy. The most attractive feature is that the bond on the flat is only $150 per person so we don't have to lay out too much to get all set up, and the rent is also really cheap - $100 a week pp (that's about 45GBP... I have to put GBP because there's no pound key by the way). It's 3 bedrooms so 6 of us are sharing and the landlord has agreed to put in extra single beds so we can share 2 to a room. It's a bit of a dump, but it's massive - really big rooms and there's a little balcony off the living room. We move in on Wednesday so it'll have to be after work, but not as much hassle as it sounds since we're all living out of backpacks in a hostel 10 mins down the road! I can't wait to get into a routine and have a bit of normality now :) I've also started seeing someone in the last couple of weeks, who is also moving into the flat - Carl. He's a chef (this works well for me since I like eating!), alas he's English tho not Australian so I'm no further towards my passport yet hahaha!! No other news right now but I'm very excited about getting to work etc and earning some money again. I am slowly adding some more photos, but it may be next weekend before I get around to it!
