Back home in Canada

This morning we headed north and back into Canada at the Thousand Island Bridge at the east end of Lake Ontario. We are booked in at the Rideau Acres campground on the outskirts of Kingston. While here we went and visited our friends Joan and John Spensley.

We made arrangements to meet Peter and Ryley downtown and take the Ferry over to Wolfe Island . It was a perfect night to be out on the water. Hopefully I can download some pictures that will show how beautiful it was We had a nice visit with Peter and Ryley over dinner on the island. The ferry ride back at sunset was terrific. Once back on the mainland we came back to the trailer for a visit and share some of our pictures. Peter has been doing quite a bit of cycling in this area. He and his buddies have a forty kilometer circuit that they ride regularly. He took us over the Rideau Canal on our trip back to Kingston to take them home. It was a splendid evening, thanks Peter and Ryley
