Mike and Roxanne travel east

Today is more of a catch up day, we leave to finish the tour we started yesterday. The day is sunny, bright, and beautiful.

We complete the drive on the east side of the island and then drive over to the west side. There are more towns here and we walk along the waterfront and on the ocean shore.

In Bar Harbor we park the car and walk up and down Main Street. Mike finds a pair of self-focusing binoculars so we go ahead and buy them. On the way home we stop at an Antique store and browse a while.

Next stop the Cannon outlet, nothing, then the L.L. Bean store. This was fun, I bought a down vest and we looked at kayaks. No, did not buy one.

Another stop was the Mainly Maine store to look at lobster pots and lighthouses. After talking to the girls working there we decided to go to the Chart Room for lobster dinner.

We had the lobster special, full lobster with potatoes and slaw, bib and all. I think I will stick with Dungeness crab.

Now I am sitting here in the Rec Room trying to get caught up on all the trip journals, Kodak Galley uploads and everything else.
