CHRISSY'S AUSSIE TRIP 2007/08 travel blog

Yes I know its sad but the buses for some reason don't...

Kim and her younger brother Scott (who's 18th it was).

Some of the drunken antics... And if he wasn't drunk before this...

Me and Kim...

Well after two hours sleep and a five hour drive Kim and I arrived in Belgrave an hour out of Melbourne and the home of Puffin Billy, a train that winds through the bush and some lovely scenery…

After Kim caught up with an old school friend we got stuck in to blowing up balloons for Kim’s brother’s 18th birthday party that night.

I have to say it was a fun night and I really enjoyed myself, but I did feel a little depressed and surprised at how time flies, as I was celebrating mine over ten years ago… My god!!!! What happened to the years?

The usual things happened, the drunken antics, rumors of a romance where there was none and a lamp post wondered down the drive, only to be quickly escorted by Scott back to its original position. Oh and most of Scotts base ball team mates kept trying to pull his very loose shorts down, finally succeeding and ripping his zip. Quiet entertaining at the time….. In some respects it reminded me of my 18th birthday, but with out the sign post or pants pulling exercise….

I don’t think I saw my bed (well sofa) much before 02:30am and after only 2 hours sleep the night before it didn’t take me long to get to sleep.
