the "Waterfall" in RDL

Well we have now moved on to the province of Quebec where everyone is very French speaking. I have a few observations that I would like to share with you - however they may be slightly controversial views:

1) Everywhere else in Canada all signs, food etc are in both French AND English, However in Quebec they are only in French - I find this very strange and in my ignorance was expecting a Bi-lingual Province

2) We have noticed very attractive men folk here in Quebec but have found that they are slightly rude.

3) There is not much to do in Riviere Du Loup but are spending time planning the next leg of our journey

We are staying in a really nice hostel however and there are a few VERY fit men working here :-)

This is I know, not a very cultured view of this town, but we are getting slightly annoyed with the rain that seems to be following us where ever we go and limiting the things we can do :-(

However Jo and I are bonding, but there are a few issues. Jo is now doing the following things that REALLY Piss her off:

1) Eating Salad - She does not see this as a meal and is starting to get red meat withdrawals

2) Drinking Water - She HATES it , but is persevering

3) Reading - Yes Books

4) Walking - a lot

Me on the other hand am:

1) Feeling OK about the salad

2) Always drink water anyway

3) Am reading all the time

4) like walking

HOWEVER I am pissed off about:

1) The weather - this rain has got to end soon doesn't it

2) The lack of healthier food options in the supermarket - I want REAL Ham and Cheese not this crap

3) The fact that there is not an M&S here :-) I would love some Sushi and Sweet Potato Crisps :-)

Well I feel much better after that!! Looking forward to Quebec City - have heard some great reviews!!!

Kelly
