American side of Niagara Falls
Norm and Anne at Niagara
Arrived in Winona around 4 o'clock staying at 50 Points campground great place our stay here should be seven days.
June 10th
off to Niagara Falls.We took the tour behind the falls also the boat tour Maid of the Mist.It was raining when we started the boat tour it wouldn't have mattered for we would have gotten wet regardless, really good tour.They gave us rain gear to wear which I kept for a souvenir because we all look so goofy.We all enjoyed Niagara Falls.
We had enough time so off to Wellan Canal we got there at 4.45 ship comming into very impressive.We watched one raise and leave and another come in and drop.
June 11
Off to Fort George. this was a millatary fort it protected the NIagara frontier from the Americans
Niagara of the Lake bueatifull old buildings very clean much like Ft. Langley.We went to take a picture of a rusty old ship on the way home Ed deceided to climb on some rocks for this and fell hurt himself.
June 12
Off to the Hamillton Marine Musuem, first we toured the HMCS Hiada world war 2 war ship also Parks Canada Discovery Center then walked around the harbour not much to see cold and windy back to campground.
I played with the GPS some more and got it working that saved s 200. bucks for we were going to get another one.
Ed's truck was taken to another Chrysler shop they removed the emobelizer and is now fixed thank goodness it was getting scary at times when we all had to stop on the side of the road at times there was not much room and we could have caused an accident.
June 13
WE took the Go train into Toronto first on the agenda was to get Blue Jay tickets managed to get good seats for that night.Off to get tour bus tickets for the town.We got the harbour and city tour with hop on and off. did the whole tour and decideded to go back another day for the hop on and off. Dinner then of to the game.
The Blue Jys won 3-o for the Cubs. The next day was a rest day for we had gotten in late and were all tired.
June 15
Back to Toronto again for more sight seeing first to the CN Tower which was fantastic then on the hop on bus to see more of the sights.Tomorrow on the move again.Kingston a stop over between Ottawa.
