Perce’ is an old fishing community, as most communities along the St Lawrence Gulf are. Perce’ is also an artist community. Since the 30’s, art and culture have located in this beautiful town. Sea excursions, kayaking, whale watching, diving … all are very popular in this eclectic town. It is also one of the most beautiful communities in the Gaspe Peninsula. Rocher Perce’ is a cathedral of limestone that rose from the Equator … containing tons of fossils and beauty beyond words. The huge limestone monolith is the key draw in this town … we’re sure you will enjoy the pics and understand why people come to this place.
