We are off on Our Western Adventure - Sep 26, 2008

Lots of last minute details today. Sandra is packed and ready to go. Lynda is home tidying for the cat sitters and packing. Judy is packed and ready to go but still at work! Yikes! By 2:15 pm Judy leaves her house, picks up Lynda..then Sandra and all arrive at the train station where the car is left for Dave to search for after his class. Into the station and the line is enormous all the way down the ramp and under the station...it goes on and on. Judy and Lynda go to the via one lounge but poor Sandra joins the line and waits. Once on the train Judy and Lynda are sered a delicious meal complete with wine. Sandra has nothing. The trip gooes by quickly and we are soon at Toronto and heading across the street to the Royal York. We meet up with Andrea and Donnie for dinner and then back to the hotel. The Royal York is a beautiful old hotel...but lots of stairs. No matter we bump our suitcases up the stairs. We are soon ready for bed and Sandra starts sneezing. She sneezes and sneezes and sneezes. After an antihistamine it continues. We soon figure out that she is in fact allergic to the sheets! At some point in the night she finds a new place to sleep. Hundreds of dollars for a hotel and she sleeps on the floor!
