|   | At Mi Casa Restaurant |
We ate dinner at "Mi Casa", an authentic Mexican restaurant. The woman in this picture greeted us at the entrance. I think she smoked one too many cigarettes. :-)

I think my date was cuter. :)

The food was very good. After we ate, we were treated to a Mexican tradition. A man brought to the table a canary in a cage, and a box of wishes (sort of like the wishes in Chinese fortune cookies). The bird came out of its cage, picked up a tiny sombrero and placed it on the little doll, did a mexican hat dance, then picked out a wish for us, then it returned to its cage. Cute little trick.

So tomorrow we pick up our fish, which has been processed (half is shrink wrapped and frozen, and half is smoked). Then at noon we're off to the airport for our 4:30 pm flight to Seattle. Sunday morning we fly to Wenatchee.
We had an incredibly fun week. And we're looking forward to coming back. We want to thank the Syria family for renting the condo to us for the week, and for Diane Cooper for advertising the rental and providing us with information on the Villa. To our kids, we're coming back and you ARE coming with us. Be prepared for an amazing vacation here. And to all who followed along through this website, we hope you enjoyed our stories and photos, and thank you to all who wrote in the Guest Book. We really enjoyed reading your comments.
See you all soon. We'll try to bring back some of this warm weather.
Buenos Dias Amigos,
Mike and Karen
