Outside the Questicon

After waking and getting properly unpacked, as it was dark when we got in last night, we drove to the old railway terminal markets. These were ok but not great. The girls got their faces painted and I bought a few things but nothing of note.

We decided to go the tourist bureau and check out all the things we should do whilst here. We decided to buy the three for one ticket ...it entitles us to go to Questicon(scitech type place), Cockington Gardens (a English minature gardens) and the Australian Institute of Sport and are able to go to one these a second time.

We then headed to Questicon. WOW it is so much better than the one in Perth and Melbourne....it was four levels high or was it five!!!

The kids and Sean had a ball...I was exhausted still recovering from the driving yesterday!!! Liam attempted everything, the free fall, curved ball throwing, guillotine, simulated rollercoaster. That was in the first room .....we sat through a simulated earthquake, lightening strike, shark cage and volcano erruption to name a few!!!

We finally left and had a well needed coffee and snacks.

We had chorizo pasta for dinner. Sean chatted with a couple from Sydney.
