Phuket to Bangkok - Apr 9, 2009 - Auckland, New Zealand

This morning we packed up our bags ready to leave the hotel today. After breakfast dad and mum went and hired another scooter and we went out on it for the morning. It was so much fun, mum and Jess on one and Dad took annie and jackson on the green one.

we went around to Surin beach and swam there, we called in to see a couple of very flash resorts too. We had to go back to check out of our room, then went on the scooters to our favourite lunch restaurant upstairs overlooking the blue waters of the bay. Then the rains came again and we had to go back to the Allamanda and read books in the lobby.

We went off to an internet cafe we found if you buy a coffee you get free internet, then we explored a few more resorts. Jess bought an overshirt for going to the beach. Then we got ready and went for our last meal at the beach at a place called Lay Pong, food was delicious, we had masaman curry. Then back to hotel to get taxi to airport for our bargain flight to Bangkok on Air Asia, all five of us for 4000baht that is lass than $200.

Today we arrived in Bangkok at 1.00 am in the morning so it was actually arrived on the 10th by the time we got all our luggage and arrived at the Pantip Court it was about 2.00am but the time we got to sleep was about 2.30am. The flight had been delayed by 1 hour due to heavy storm conditions in Bangkok. The Pantip court has 26 storys we are on the 16th we are fortunate there are elevators and ...lucky I'm not afraid of hights. Our two bedroom Apartment is huge and feels like you live in a palace and I have my own ensuite. ... Annelise
