Canada - here we come! - May 9, 2009 - Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Off to Montreal today. Up early to pack and get to the airport. Overcast day. One bag 4 kgs over so had to pack into another bag at the airport - oh well. Will lose a few kilos at the Belairs when we hand over all the Tim Tams! Had lunch at a mexican restaurant at the airport and found the best bargain margaritas in town - $10 for a cocktail shaker full to the brim! We did share them. JFK airport is very busy. We spent 1 hour on the tarmac waiting to take off for a 55 minute flight. Look at the photo of the planes queueing - Peter counted 22. Josee and Roger met us and it was wonderful to see them again. They have a gorgeous house/castle - nothing like Gove houses. Had a wonderful evening drinking and reminiscing - plus phone calls from the kids for Aussie Mothers Day. Looking forward to spending time with the Belairs.
