Friday 5th June. Even with heavy duvets we froze all night and in the morning there was a mist and still it rained. After a hot breakfast making us feel a little better we set off for the spa town of Marianske Lasne, which was even lovelier than before. It has always been a magnet for wealthy Germans and true to form they filled the place all dressed in winter woolies, Camel coats, Furs and furry boots. With all our winter clothes packed away in the depths of the car it was a case of two tops, two fleeces and a woolie jumper each and lets brave the elements. After ten minutes it was time for coffee, then just warm enough to get back to the car. But more importantly the town is just beautiful with buildings decorated with wild excess. Certainly a place to visit but better on a warm day.
Off again across northern Czech towards the old East Germany but stopped at a tired hotel just outside Dubi for the night, later finding out that it was the village filled with brothels. In fact one or two of the girls in the hotel seemed over friendly!
